I want to become more intelligent and a stronger writer, and all the people that I know who fall into both categories read books. I want to read more than just mystery, romance, and fiction. I want to dive into more non-fiction and more historical books. I want to learn about all kinds of things, from botany to historical events. I especially want to learn about dinosaurs. Thank you to Jason Z***** in elementary school for sparking my interest in dinosaurs lol.

Current number of books read in 2025: 6 (better than last year!) I need to finish Hamlet! However, this girl kind of spoiled the ending for me LOL.

Rating: 5.5/10

Current thoughts: When I first started reading this book, I kept stopping. I think I had an immediate turn off to the names because they're so extra lol. Proserpina and Saint Sebastian are just a bit much, lol, but I started reading it more. I set myself a challenge to finish both this book and I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou by the end of December, and I finished the other book during Thanksgiving. My overall rating of this book is not finite in the slightest. This book was sooooo. It caught me off guard BAD lol, and I will not be reading the rest of the series lol. The actual mystery is interesting, but all the sex is so unnecessary in my opinion. Not my favorite genre lol.

I just finished Book #3 for 2026, and so I am on track for 2 books a month. 

I just finished Iron Flame and OMG I need to read onyx storm next bro. CUZ WYM XADEN IS VENIN NOW. All the miscommunication and arguing in this book was aggravating and unnecessary, but overall I liked the book. I definitely liked Fourth Wing better though, but I am a big fan of this series. I need Onyx storm immediatelyyyy. It took me 18 hours to finish this 619 page book, so around 35 pages an hour.
